Privacy Policy
This page is maintained by the operator of Dolcair to explain, in plain language, exactly what is and is not collected on this website. Dolcair is a pre-launch project: no products are for sale, and no payments are ever taken here.
Our approach
Dolcair is designed to be privacy-first and GDPR-compliant. We practise data minimisation: we collect the least amount of information needed to (1) understand whether people want this product, and (2) let interested visitors ask to be notified at launch.
What we collect
Anonymous analytics (opt-in). Only if you accept analytics cookies, we record anonymous events such as page views, gallery interactions, size selections, and funnel steps. These are tied to a random, anonymous session identifier — not to you. We also derive coarse, non-identifying context such as approximate country, device type (mobile/tablet/desktop) and referral source (e.g. “search” or “social”).
Your email (only if you provide it). If you join the priority list, we store your email address so we can notify you at launch. It is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM). We also keep a one-way fingerprint of it purely to prevent duplicates and to power your unsubscribe link.
What we never collect
No names, phone numbers, addresses, accounts or passwords. No precise location. No device fingerprinting, advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking. No Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook, TikTok, Hotjar, Clarity or any third-party marketing or profiling tools. We never sell or share your data.
Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)
Consent for analytics cookies and for optional marketing emails — you may withdraw it at any time.
Legitimate interest for keeping the site secure and functional (one essential cookie, basic anti-abuse rate limiting using a temporary one-way hash of your IP that is never stored).
Where your data lives & how long we keep it
Data is processed and stored on servers located in the European Union (Stockholm, Sweden). Anonymous analytics are retained only while this validation project is active. Priority-list emails are kept until the launch campaign is complete or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them — whichever comes first.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click, or contact us directly via our contact page. Because analytics data is anonymous, we cannot link it back to an individual to action a request against it.
Cookies
See our Cookie Policy for the full list. In short: one strictly-necessary cookie always runs; analytics are used only after you opt in.
